The Skinceuticals Story:

Born from decades of skin cancer research that led to pivotal breakthroughs in antioxidants, SkinCeuticals high potency formulas are concentrated in pure actives and proven to penetrate optimally into the skin.  SkinCeuticals products are formulated to correct signs of ageing, protect healthy skin, and prevent future damage.

Dr Sheldon Pinnell (dermatologist, professor and skincare chemist) was the founding scientist of SkinCeuticals.  One of his great achievements was to change the face of topical Vitamin C Serums with his pivotal research. With almost four decades of experience in skin cancer, skin disease, and skin ageing research, Dr. Pinnell published more than 200 scientific articles about topical vitamin C, antioxidants, collagen synthesis, and photo-damage in peer-reviewed dermatology journals. He also had 100 peer-reviewed publications, including many related directly to topical antioxidant innovative technologies. Unfortunately, he passed away in July 2013. However, his quest for knowledge and dedication to skin science was paramount for establishing SkinCeuticals as the antioxidant authority.  His work lives on in the Skinceuticals ethos and approach to research and development of advanced skincare solutions backed by science.

The SkinCeuticals range is based on three main pillars:

  • Prevention (minimising the effects of oxidation and free radical damage on the skin);

  • Protection (offering broad spectrum defence against the sun’s UV rays); and

  • Correction (addressing the visible signs of ageing and environmental damage when they occur).

By remaining faithful to this mission, they make it easy for anyone to create a complete skin care regime to maintain smooth, healthy and happy skin for life.
